Calm countryside and varied activities at Loma-Vietonen

Loma-Vietonen with its surroundings and its opportunities is a dream destination for a traveller. It lies in an area of many lakes in Lapland, just north of the Arctic Circle, 64 kilometres from Rovaniemi. Vietonen is one of the largest lakes in Finland. The clear waters of Lapland, teeming with fish, the sandy beaches and varied scenery offer the traveller unforgettable experiences and the chance to enjoy different activities.

Summer is a time of white nights and midnight sun. A time to wander in our countryside. At Loma-Vietonen there is a large choise of nature excursions. The fishing is good. You can try fly-fishing, spinning, net fishing and angling. In early winter, we go on excursions by reindeer through the silent snowy wilderness. Or by dogsled through the forests. On a snowmobile, you can cruise on either side of the Arctic Circle and even pop across to Sweden.

Loma Vietonen offers a high standard of accommodation, a lakeside sauna with a built-in fireplace, a lecture room, and spacious grounds. The service includes an independent stay or guided activities, tasty home cooking and a pleasant atmosphere.

Loma-Vietonen welcomes you!
